DAHQ’s October 23 workshop, Proactive Safety: Tools, Tactics, and Teamwork, brought healthcare quality professionals together in Middletown, Delaware for an interactive learning and networking experience focused on shifting from reactive to proactive safety practices. The event combined practical strategies, facilitated collaboration, and continuing education credit to support safer outcomes across healthcare settings.

DAHQ’s presence at the December 2025 Delaware Healthcare Association Forum provided an opportunity to share the association’s renewed strategy and rich history with healthcare leaders across the state. Through meaningful conversations and a poster presentation, DAHQ highlighted both its longstanding impact and its vision for continued collaboration and educational excellence in Delaware.

The Delaware Association for Healthcare Quality has evolved from a grassroots, county‑based collaboration in the late 1970s into a respected statewide professional association dedicated to education, networking, and healthcare quality improvement. Through decades of growth, recognition, pause, and recent reinvigoration, DAHQ continues to honor its legacy while preparing for a strong and sustainable future in Delaware healthcare.

The year 2025 marked a period of renewal and growth for DAHQ, highlighted by new leadership, established committees, expanded digital presence, and the association’s first educational and networking event since reinvigoration. With growing membership and statewide, interprofessional representation, DAHQ strengthened its role as a collaborative forum for advancing healthcare quality across Delaware.
